The District IV, District V, and District IX seats on the board were up for election in 2017. District IX Trustee Christopher Oliver, who pleaded guilty to bribery charges and was censured by the board in July 2017, did not run for re-election.[1][2] Pretta Vandible Stallworth defeated Eugene Pack in the runoff election for the District IX seat on the Houston Community College Board of Trustees.[3]
