Primary: He was defeated in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 21.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Thomas P. Anzelmo, Jr., Danyelle Taylor, and John Sudderth. [1][2]

Education

Buck attended the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, receiving a B.S. in marine transportation. He received his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University in 1985.[3][4]

Military service

Buck was an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve.[3]

Buck is an attorney and has been an instructor at Tulane University Law School.[4]
