The Georgia Daylight Saving Time Nonbinding Advisory Question was not on the ballot in Georgia as an advisory question on November 3, 2020.
This nonbinding advisory question would have asked voters whether they wanted to (1) continue the current system of switching between standard time and daylight saving time, (2) end daylight saving time, or (3) make daylight saving time permanent year-round if authorized by Congress.[1]

The ballot question would have been as follows:[1]

( ) Option No. 1. The state shall continue to observe the current system of switching between standard time and daylight saving time twice a year. ( ) Option No. 2. The state shall not observe daylight saving time. ( ) Option No. 3. The state shall observe daylight saving time year round, if authorized by Congress. [2] |

Path to the ballot
This measure was introduced as Senate Bill 351 on February 3, 2020. On March 2, 2020, the state Senate passed the bill unanimously. Senator Donzella James (D) was excused and Senator Jeff Mullis (R) did not vote. There was one vacancy in District 13.[1]
The measure was not passed by the legislature before the legislature adjourned on June 26, 2020.
