Hill ran for re-election to the 14th Judicial District.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.In advance of the 2014 election, the North Carolina Bar Association surveyed attorneys on the performance of judges whose terms were expiring. Hill scored 4.19 out of a possible 5 points.[1]

Hill was re-elected to the 14th Judicial District Court after running unopposed.[2]

Hill received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama.[3]
