Redding was a candidate for the 19B Judicial District of North Carolina in 2012.[1]

Redding received her B.A. degree from Queens College in 1984 and her J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1987.[2]

Redding ran for election to the District Court on Nov. 6, 2012, but was defeated by incumbent Judge Robert M. Wilkins after receiving 40.46% of the vote.[3][1]
