Candidate Connection

Jason Hunt participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on May 16, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and Jason Hunt's responses follow below.[1]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

Diversifying the local economy to promote encourage job security. Reducing crime in our neighborhoods. Thoughtful planning and zoning decisions. Improving air quality in our county getting off the EPA dirty air list.[2][3]

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

I am passionate about helping Clark County be one of the best places to live. With the growth rate we are experiencing, it is important to me that we have well thought out planning and zoning. The decisions we make today will affect our community for generations to come. Every decision we make must have the next 15, 30, and 50 years in mind.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[3]
