General: He defeated Brent Boncher in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 54 percent of the vote.

Education
O'Hara received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Michigan State University in 1980 and his J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1985.[4]
Career
Before his election to the 63rd District Court, O'Hara worked as a criminal defense attorney.[5]
