Knecht's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[1]

  • Excerpt: "I will work for my proud Oklahoma constituents to defend States’ Rights and Personal Liberties. By opposing Obamacare, Common Core, and all similar "top-down" legislation that directly violate The U.S. Constitution, I will fight to ensure that no federal powers infringe upon personal, local, county, and state rights. The purpose of the government is to serve “We the People”. As a former serviceman, I am an Oathkeeper and I will always be a vigilant guard of our U.S. Constitution. By reducing wasteful government spending, minimizing overall debt, and cutting taxes, a renaissance of our Oklahoma economic growth would increase job opportunities and reduce unemployment in our state. I am dedicated to restoring the free market by identifying and terminating legislation that has given corporate welfare a free ride at the expense and burden of you, the hard-working Oklahoma taxpayer."
