Julian Luna was a Democratic candidate for District 8 of the New Mexico House of Representatives. The primary election was on June 1, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Luna defeated incumbent Elias Barela in the June 1 Democratic primary. Luna received 1,398 votes while Barela received 1,233. Luna lost to Republican Alonzo Baldonado in the general election on November 2, 2010.
