Jamoc ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut State Senate District 7. Jamoc ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012. She was defeated by incumbent John Kissel (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012. Elizabeth Traceski ran as a write-in candidate.[1][2][3]
