Kevin Kastner
Kevin Kastner was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 16 of the Alaska House of Representatives.
Biography
Growing up in Oklahoma, Kastner graduated from Putnam City West in Oklahoma City. He went on to study mechanical engineering at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and Southern Nazarene University.[1]
Professionally, Kastner serves as the executive director of the Iron Dog race, the world's longest snowmobile race. Since 1997, he has held professional roles at GCI, AlaskaUSA, Starbucks and co-founded two small businesses.

2014
Elections for the Alaska House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 19, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. District 14 incumbent Max F. Gruenberg, Jr. was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Don Hadley defeated Kevin Kastner in the Republican primary. Gruenberg defeated Hadley in the general election.[3][4][5][6]
