  • Prosperity for all Americans
  • Creating a Government that works for the people, that is of the people and that is limited in its capacity to restrict the liberties of its citizens.
  • Innovation and creativity, two words you never hear of coming out of Congress. I want to bring forth legislation in ways that make our society proactive instead of reactive. I'd like my time in Congress to be remembered as a Representative who pushed Congress into a new age.
Solving poverty, solving the widespread violence in our communities, religious freedoms along with freedom of speech online, Veterans, solving the lack of proper education crisis that we have in our country
I admire the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump. He is a self made Billionaire, who left his private business for the betterment of our country. Entered a very hostile arena to create change for people who badly needed it. I admire folks who against all odds they prevail. I admire those who do good just for the sake of it, not being forced to, but willingly. Those are just some characteristics of President Trump that I look up too.
I believe honestly is one of the most important principles that an elected official should possess. Along with transparency and availability, to often our representatives are not available for those who which they represent. I would like to see more accessibility to our representatives. I will be an accessible Representative.
Integrity, Relentless, Understanding, Innovative, Motivated,
A legacy where I impacted many peoples lives for the betterment of our society. A legacy that says I loved and honored God above all.
I remember being about 16 years old and seeing the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center get crashed into by planes. It stirred a fire in me, I felt that our nation was under attack. It ultimately lead to my decision to join the United States Army.
My very first job was at a car wash when I was 14 years old. I worked that job for about two years before I received another job at Papa Murphy's pizza.
The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. It is a very motivating book, that has lots of inspiration and biblical truths.
One quality that makes the U.S. House of Representatives a unique institution is that it is the chamber tasks with creating laws. Which means it has the unique ability to create lasting change. When elected I plan to propose many pieces of legislation to have lasting positive change on the lives of the American people.
I believe the United States greatest challenge as a nation over the next decade is the partisanship in politics. No one will ever get everything that they want, but some of what you want is better then nothing. In order to change the gridlock I believe we need fresh faces in Congress. Many of the members now, some have been there 20 years and the founding fathers never intended for that to happen. Term limits could fix this grid lock.
We badly need term limits in Congress. I contribute 90% of the gridlock to the fact that many of the members in office have been there for 10 and 20 years. I contribute 90% of the lack of innovation and creativity to the fact that we almost never have any fresh faces at the top of the leadership latter. This tradition needs to be changed sooner than later for the betterment of the Republic.
Adam Clayton Powell Jr. & also Barry Goldwater (though he was a Senator)
