|- I want to be remembered as a candidate who did things differently than your typical candidates. First and foremost, a good candidate does three things:
Informs. Stays involved. Inspires.
My campaign has been branded in ensuring I have provided as much information to voters so that they feel equipped and prepared to vote on November 5th. I have attended various events and worked incredibly hard to stay engaged in the community. I have proven that I have put in the time and the effort into this campaign to earn my district's votes. I am door knocking and hearing directly from voters. Lastly, I hope I have left voters feeling that I am inspiring the change they want to see. I check all three boxes. - A few goals of mine while in office would be to protect women's reproductive rights, fix the childcare crisis, address wasteful spending, expand workforce development, and support our public education system. I'm not out for personal interests or gain. I truly want a better life and more opportunities for all to have successful, healthy, and prosperous lives.
- I care about every person in my district, regardless of their political affiliation, their economic status, or their struggles. I have what it takes to put people first, and not just that I will. I show it. We are so divided as it is, and I am on a mission to show that despite our differences, there is someone who is willing and fully capable of working with both sides to get things done. It is my goal to restore unity, professionalism, and accountability while in Bismarck.

I was door knocking one day in a small town and there was a woman in her front yard. I introduced myself and explained a little about my campaign and asked her if there were any current concerns or anything in particular that was affecting her and her family. She responds by saying that she was very highly uneducated and that her struggles didn't matter. She asked why I was in such a low income area and figured I'd be better off in the ritzy area of town. My heart sank. She felt so devalued by society because of her economic status and her financial situation. She told me she didn't have any spare money to donate. I told her, that having this time to speak with her meant much than any donation I could receive. It hurts to know that this story is more common than we want to think about or admit. I went back a few weeks later and left her a card thanking her for her time and hoping she was doing well.
