I have a PhD degree from the University of Chicago. I was born and raised in Alabama. I am retired from The Alabama Department of Public Health, where I was Chief Statistician. I have a wife, four children, and 4 grandchildren. I am dedicated to smaller government and lower taxes. As a libertarian, I am in favor of protecting our constitutional right to free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, right to bear arms, and property rights. A person's home is his castle.
  • I am in favor of smaller government.
  • I am in favor of lower taxes.
  • I am in favor of property rights.
We need to reign in the deep state. We can do this by reducing the size of government and cutting spending on government. Our school system needs serious reform. The public schools have become too bureaucratic and are failing. We need more school choice. The health care system is too expensive and the outcomes are suboptimal. We rank very low in health outcomes.
I look up to Jesus Christ. He helped and served the less fortunate. Hopefully, if I am elected, I can to something to help the common people of Alabama.
Honesty, integrity, openness to new ideas and positions.
To represent the people of the district and to get as many benefits for them as possible.
I would like to leave the world a better place for my grandchildren to grow up in the future.
I worked in a grocery store in Holt, Alabama for about a year,
War and Peace. The characters are so well developed.
No checks and balances. Under representation of minority opinions. A benefit is that it may be easier to pass legislation.
A non partisan panel of experts. Keep counties together as much as possible.
Why did the turtle cross the road? To get to the shell station.
