Marjorie T. Arrington is a circuit court judge for the 1st Judicial Circuit in Virginia.[1] The 1st Judicial Circuit is home to the Chesapeake Circuit Court.[2] She has served as a judge on the court since May 9, 2008.[3]

Education

Arrington received her undergraduate degree from Hampton University and her J.D. from the Mercer University School of Law.[4]

Career

Before she became a judge, Arrington served as a deputy commonwealth attorney for the City of Norfolk from 2001 to 2008. She has also previously worked as an attorney for Tidewater Legal Aid Society and served as a prosecutor for the cities of Portsmouth and Suffolk.[3]
