1. Revise the tax reassessment process to help support longtime working class homeowners. 2.Work to make city government transparent and open to public inspection. 3.Have the Common Council become a conduit to help constituents access all the city services that might help them.
Development and gentrification must be controlled to benefit all the citizens of the district.
I look up to my dad. He worked two full time jobs to benefit his family while still working for the community as a whole.
To Kill A Mockingbird is a great book about doing the right,just and moral thing for your community,despite any obstacles that may be in your way.
In my previous career,my success was mostly due to the people I surrounded myself with.And nobody worked harder me.
Responding to constituents concerns in a timely manner.Doing the research in the community to assess the opinions of the concerned and then translating those concerns into action.
I would like people to remember how much I loved my community and how I tried my hardest to leave my city a better place.
I remember JFK being elected and the enthusiasm of the Buffalonians that their future looked so great.
I had a huge paper route(1200 papers!)when I was twelve.I hired two friends to help me and we had that route for two years.
I forgot my money and had to have my date pay for the movie and popcorn.
Thanksgiving,which is a long tradition at our house.We have friends,family,and a bunch of people who can’t make it back to their hometown.
I read about 50 books a year and couldn’t possibly pick a favorite.
Two paintings by Jack Drummer,a local legend who never gave up on his vision.
Having to work so hard to provide for my family while having to forego committing to more idealistic pursuits.
The Common Council writes all new laws for the city. In these rapidly changing times it is a great responsibility and a tremendous opportunity
To be able to debate cordially and be a consensus builder among the 8 other council persons.
You have to worry about the little things that are so important to your constituents.When your garbage doesn’t get picked up,it is important to you,and I should treat it that way.
