Martin F. Egelhoff
Martin F. Egelhoff is a judge of the Colorado 2nd Judicial District. His current term ends on January 12, 2027.
Egelhoff ran for re-election for judge of the Colorado 2nd Judicial District. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.
Egelhoff was appointed to the bench in June 1999 by former Governor Bill Owens (R), replacing Judge Richard Spriggs.[1][2]
Egelhoff was later retained by voters in 2002, 2008 and 2014.[3] His six-year term was set to expire on January 11, 2021.[4]
Biography
Education
Egelhoff received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and his J.D. from the University of Denver.[5]
Career
At the time of his appointment, Egelhoff was chief deputy district attorney in the Denver District Attorney's Office. He also previously served as an in-house attorney for the Colorado District Attorneys Council.[1]
