Mary Hattori
Mary Hattori is a member of the Hawaii State Board of Education, representing Honolulu. She assumed office on July 1, 2024. Her current term ends on June 30, 2027.
Biography
Mary Hattori earned a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Hattori’s career experience includes working for the UH Mānoa Center for Pacific Islands Studies and Chaminade University.[1]
Board members
The State of Hawaii Board of Education is made up of nine members appointed by the governor, a non-voting student representative, and a non-voting military liaison. There are no publicly elected members of the board.[2]
