Meyer Marks
Meyer Marks was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 16 of the Maryland State Senate.[1] He ran unsuccessfully for District 16 of the Maryland House of Delegates in 2010.

Elections for the Maryland State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Susan Lee defeated J'aime Drayton and Hugh Hill in the Democratic primary, while Meyer Marks was unopposed in the Republican primary. Lee defeated Marks in the general election.[1][2][3]

Governor
Meyer considered a run for Governor of Maryland but did not file his intent with the Maryland State Board of Elections by the filing deadline.[4] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.

Marks lost in the general election on November 2, 2010, coming in sixth. Three seats were available in the district.[5]
