Since 1976, Styler has been a farmer in Delta, Utah, farming 450 acres of land. He served on the Millard County Commission from 1983-1990, and was a member of the Utah House of Representatives from 1992 to 2005. From 1990 to 2005, taught U.S. History in the Millard School District.[1]
