I was born and raised in Sauk Rapids. My family is here. My friends are here. I feel lucky now be raising a family here as well.

I am an account manger for Border States Electric in Saint Cloud and have been with the company for over 17 years.

I live with my wife and two young daughters on the south side of town.
  • I was elected to the Sauk Rapids City Council in 2012 and have been reelected twice. In my time as a council member, I have served on several committees including Personnel and Finance, Public Works, and Park Committee. I have also been appointed acting mayor for the past six years. I look forward to continue working cohesively with my fellow council members and staff, as well as the school district, Benton County, and neighboring communities.
  • I am accessible and open minded. Even though this isn't my full time job I am available. I try to make it a point to call or email everyone back and make time for the residents.
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed my years on the council and I love my hometown. I want to continue to help it grow, and not only attract business to our amazing downtown and easily accessible industrial parks, but make it a destination city for everyone. Whether people want to live and raise a family in our amazing school district or they want to grab a bite to eat and enjoy views of the Mississippi from our wonderful parks, I want to help make it happen.
Fiscal Responsibility, infrastructure, affordable housing, and public safety.
Show up. Do your "homework" and come prepared to make informed decisions.
As an elected official I would like to be known as someone who was always willing to listen.
In a smaller community like ours, the mayor is the face of the city. You have to be "on" at all times and available.
The small town feel that the city and residents have been able to create and maintain, even with the area's growth.
Staying on top of our aging infrastructure and PFAS mitigation while remaining in good financial condition.
