The NC legislature needs to stop the political bickering and instead work together to find solutions that will benefit all NC citizens

The 2% food tax should be eliminated before the C corporation tax rate is reduced again.

Medicaid should be expanded; and our public schools funded that meets our constitutional obligation.
Defend constitutional Freedom and Liberty.

Protect our 2nd Amendment Rights.

Deliver a Quality Education in our K-12 Schools.
1) Reduce regressive taxes such as the 2% food tax. 2) Expand Medicaid. 3) Fully fund our public schools as mandated by our NC Supreme Court so that the best education can be delivered to all of our students especially in rural counties such as ours. 4) Provide better mental health care at the county level. 5) Work with public schools and volunteer fire departments to address the shortage of EMT's/firefighters in our rural VFD's. 6) Interact with our federal department of defense agencies to explore possible opportunites for Rockingham County during the base re-alighnment process.
• Support Military, Law Enforcement and First Responders.

• Advance Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

• Bring Job Opportunities to Rockingham County.
