North Dakota House Bill 1402 was introduced and sponsored by Senators: Jim Dotzenrod (D-26)), Judy Lee (R-13), Nicole Poolman (R-7) and Ronald Sorvaag (R-45) and Representatives Randy Boehning (R-27), Thomas Beadle (R-27), Matthew Klein (R-40) and Diane Larson (R-30). It was signed by Governor Jack Dalrymple on April 19, 2013.[1][2]
Provisions
According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, HB 1402 "requires that a signer's name be legibly printed on a petition, and includes zip code in the required information."[1]
