Campaign themes
2014
In an article in the Albuquerque Journal, Clawson said he was running for the following reasons:[1]
- Excerpt: "I have had many jobs, none more rewarding than that of serving the public trust. As the deputy director for the city of Gallup as well as the superintendent of its electrical department, nothing was more sacred to me than the trust placed with us by those we served as their public employees. That trust was given to us without proof that we were deserving of it and therefore a great gift. I want to continue to be a champion of that public trust responsibility and serve the fine men and women of N.M. by running for House District 9."
