Patricia Sowinski Fix is a judge of the 19th Circuit Court (2nd Subcircuit) in Illinois. She was elected to this position on November 6, 2012 and her current term expires in December of 2018.[1]
Education
Fix received her B.A. degree from the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana and her J.D. degree (1991) from Loyola University School of Law.[2]
Career
Fix worked as an assistant state's attorney in Lake County from 1991 until her judicial election in 2012.[2]
2012 election
Fix was elected to the 19th Circuit Court on November 6, 2012, defeating Associate Judge Luis A. Berrones with 51.2% of the vote. She was unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012.[1][3]
