Paul Caianiello Jr.
Paul Caianiello (independent) ran for election to the Rhode Island House of Representatives to represent District 26. Caianiello was disqualified from the general election scheduled on November 6, 2018.
Caianiello fell short of the required 50 signatures and was thus removed from the ballot.[1]
Elections
2014
Elections for the Rhode Island House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 25, 2014. Nicholas Denice was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Patricia Morgan was unopposed in the Republican primary. Paul Caianiello, Jr. ran as a Moderate candidate. Morgan defeated Denice and Caianiello in the general election.[2][3][4]
2012
Caianiello ran in the 2012 election for Rhode Island State Senate District 9. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on September 11. Incumbent Michael Pinga was defeated by Adam J. Satchell in the Democratic primary. Caianiello was defeated by Satchell in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5]
