Rachel Bringer Shepherd is a judge on the 10th Judicial Circuit Court in Missouri. She was appointed to the court in December 2010 by Governor Jay Nixon.[1] She was re-elected in 2012, and her current term expires in 2018.[2]

Education

Shepherd received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Shepherd served as a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, District 6, from 2002 to 2011. She previously served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Missouri County from 2000 to 2002 and as a law clerk for Judge Reinhard in the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District. From 2000 to 2010, Shepherd owned a private law practice.[1]
