    • Advocate for new and increased funding for K-12.
    • Advocate for increased funding for JTED.
    • Support Charter schools where needed.
    • Support pay increases for teachers.

    • Support infrastructure projects that maximize job creation and investment.
    • Support the evaluation of both short term and long term transportation funding.

    • Simplification of (TPT) Transaction Privilege Tax (sales tax) and elimination of TPT on manufacture’s electricity and natural gas consumption.
  • Regulation
    • Promote a regulatory environment that provides certainty for businesses without unduly burdensome regulations on business owners.
  • Quality of Life
    • Strengthen Arizona’s economy by encouraging increased public-private partnerships to include involvement of SBA, SCORE, U of A, Start-up Tucson and venture capitalists.
    • Work to keep Raytheon in Tucson.
    • Support and participate in efforts to brand Arizona as a favorable environment for tourism, business location, expansion, and job creation.
    • Support the reauthorization of the Arizona Commerce Authority.
    • Reinstate the Arizona Film Office.[2]
