Robert L. Benton
Robert Benton was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 20 of the Alaska House of Representatives. He ran unsuccessfully for District 18 of the Alaska House of Representatives in 2012 as a Republican.

Elections for the Alaska House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 19, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. District 18 incumbent Les S. Gara was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election. Robert L. Benton (D) withdrew before the primary.[1][2][3][4]
2012
Benton filed to run in the 2012 election for Alaska House of Representatives District 18, but withdrew prior to the primary election.[5][6]
2010
Benton was unopposed in the August 24 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Democrat Berta Gardner in the general election.
