I moved from Long Island, NY, to Alexandria, MN, in 2005 with my children and have been a resident of Alexandria for over 19 years. I attended Alexandria Technical and Community College and obtained an Associates Degree in Business Web Development. I currently work in the transportation industry and have for several years. I am married to my beautiful wife of 10 years. Our children attended Alexandria area schools and we have been members of our local church serving in the youth and worship ministry for over 10 years. My passion for music leads me to enjoy playing the drums and Deejaying. When time allows I enjoy playing basketball and fishing in our wonderful lakes. Having been a part of the Alexandria community, I am running for City Council because I love serving others and taking an active part in my community.
  • I care about people and the community. Serving as a Councilmen I want to make sure the voices of my Ward are heard, giving residents a chance to express ideas and concerns.
  • Since the community is growing, I want to be involved in decisions that will help benefit our community and Alexandria overall. Expanding our parks and recreation will encourage growth and enrich our community and those who come to visit the area.
  • It's important that we keep local taxes affordable for residents. This can be done by making informed decisions on our budget and listening to the concerns of the residents.
For young families and those on a fixed income, I would like to be involved in creating more affordable housing options.
I look up to my parents. I would like to follow my father's example of being a hard worker and a strong family man.
Having an open mind, attention to detail and a passion for serving.
To make decisions that benefit the community. To listen to questions and concerns about critical decisions that not only affect people currently, but into the future.
A legacy that would encourage people who wouldn't consider running for a local office to give it a shot.
My first job was working in a NY Deli doing bottle deposits. I worked there for one whole summer.
Any experience can be beneficial. I don't believe at this level of government it's necessary. Fresh ideas and views can be brought in by people who also think outside the political box.
Communication, listening as well as speaking. Communication is the key to building a strong relationship with people in our community.
There should always be transparency and accountability as a public servant. The government has a responsibility to its people.
