I am a U.S. Navy veteran and a graduate of a U.S. Navy science development program. After spending time at Utah Valley University and Utah State University, my wife and I were married in the Timpanogos Temple. My wife was accepted to a U.S. Army fellowship program in Iowa after which I spent about 9 years working irregular/asymmetric warfare technologies in China Lake, California.

I was fortunate enough to interface with the highest-ranking representatives in the Navy/MC. I prided myself on solving urgent/critical operational needs in a high speed/precision environment.

I have worked asymmetric/tactical operations and I have worked in strategic organizations. I have lead organizations and teams of diverse people. I have collaborated with academia, industry, and Department of Defense organizations. I have seen first-hand the most significant problems within the DoD and understand the need to implement novel or innovative ideas to solve our post Covid/ post Generative AI world.

I feel I can empathize most with my constituents because I am not a politician, I devote my time to learning and fixing complex systems, and I a middle class politically conservative individual. A U.S. Senator (to me) should be able to represent his constituents because he is like them or can empathize with them. A Senator who represents Utah in the U.S. Senate should have a diverse background at the federal level - including an understanding of the threat China is and will be.
  • As an engineer I have spent my career fixing complex problems - SenatorNewcomb.com
  • I have spent almost 10 years applying AI to complex systems. We need a candidate in the U.S. Senate who understands AI and can ensure innovation is not stifled.
  • I understand the NACs, ESG, and the miseducation on global warming. With a civil engineering undergrad degree - I value the environment but absolutely see the truth mingled with the Al Gore environmental business.
SenatorNewcomb.com

On my website, I outline my position on topics related to foreign policy, artificial Intelligence, the economy, veteran issues, our Bill of Rights and how it is being severely eroded, Immigration, Utah issues - including federal managed lands, U.S. fentanyl epidemic, ESGs, NACs, Wokeism's attack on the 1st Amendment, and data rights.

Most notably, I am an advocate for veterans, and I have experienced firsthand the care of the men/women at the VA who have to deal with a broken bureaucratic system. When we have a generation of new veterans returning from Biden's surrender in 2021 and we are still experiencing approximately 3% increase in veterans committing suicide (2022-2023 apx.) - we have a problem. This is a triage problem. With reinstating the problem, I will give you the solution - remove the paperwork, remove the multi-person and multi-organizational process requirement, and for sake of everything sacred - remove the limitations or power to deny claims of TriWest (who is contracted through the VA to take care of veterans who qualify for Community-Care; this is another deterrent for veterans to get care). Between the bureaucracy and the increased processes, we are spending a lot of the money that could be going directly to veterans who need to be triaged. There are well known studies that have occurred in the last 4 years showing significant results - to triage a patient, is to provide immediate, urgent, or delayed treatment.
Ronald Reagon's conservative values - especially his views on limited government and government spending.
Gary Drilling - Oil drilling company. I worked as a chain hand and pipe racker. Bakersfield, California. 1 year.
