A vote about whether to recall Rodney Sanders from his position as president of the Strathmore, California Public Utilities District, took place on November 4, 2008.[1] Sanders was recalled from office.[2]
Background
Sanders was accused of failing to "act in the best interests of the residents of Strathmore."[3] The petition goes on to say, "He has mismanaged public finances, he has condoned waste and incompetence, he has favored “connections” over qualifications in personnel matters, and he has shown disregard and disrespect for members of the community.[3]
