I care deeply for building strong community for families to thrive. Protecting liberties and limiting government are the reasons why I have been involved and want to serve in the legislature. I am a candidate who is: pro-life, pro-family, pro-freedom advocate with strong community ties, I want to build on my community leadership to protect the Montana way of life..."Keep government out of my way and let me raise my family, build my business and build my community."
I care deeply for building strong community for families to thrive. Protecting liberties and limiting government are the reasons why I have been involved and want to serve in the legislature.

I have experience in public policy advocacy for babies through seniors and the issues that impact their life. Having served as a Congressional Ambassador for the Montana Alzheimer's Association, I have worked on federal and state legislation to improve lives and bring awareness.

My past experience as a director for a crisis pregnancy center has given me the opportunity to see community solutions for families in crisis. The lives that are changed when someone speaks truth about life and the blessings of a parenting or adoption plan has moved me in many ways to help secure life for the unborn.

Finally, I moved to Montana in 2003 and found the Montana way of life has become my way of life. I did not move here to change Montana; I came to Montana for Montana to change me. In the past few years we are watching people move here and try to fix Montana based on the failures of where they came from. I want to serve to preserve the love that people have for the spirit of Montana's independent way of living.

2014

Skees' campaign blog highlighted the following campaign themes:

In 2010 the mantra was jobs, jobs, jobs.

Today I hear so much more. While Economy if a big concern, it is not just about jobs. People want choice- choice in education, choice in healthcare, and choice in how to recreate in Montana. Accessing our resources and land is about growing the economy as well as enjoying the reason why we live here. Transparency and government accountability are important to so many people who see government exceeding its Constitutional role

And finally privacy, we are seeing so much of our daily life invaded by the overgrowth of government and we are losing the ability to live safe and secure. Too many people I have talked to recently have said they fear their government and don’t know who to trust anymore.[6][7]
