Roxanne L. Rochester was a candidate for the Cook County 7th Subcircuit of Illinois in 2012.[1]

2012 election

Rochester ran for election in 2012 to fill the vacancy left by Cheryl Starks. She was defeated by incumbent Judge Tommy Brewer in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012, receiving 38.9% of the vote.[1][2]

Education

Rochester received her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s College and her J.D. degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.[3]

Career

Rochester is a former private practice attorney and spent over 10 years managing her own firm. At the time of her candidacy, she worked as a staff attorney in the Cook County Circuit Court.[3]
