Rupak Rauniar
Rupak Rauniar was a candidate for the Position 7 seat on the Alvin Board of Trustees in Texas. He filed for election against fellow challengers Chad Dudley and Vivian Scheibel in the general election on May 10, 2014 but withdrew on March 5, 2014.[1]
Biography
Rauniar earned a B.E. in computer science from the Birla Institute of Technology in 1995. He also holds an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in manufacturing management and engineering from the University of Toledo. At the time of his candidacy, Rauniar was an assistant professor of management at the University of Houston-Victoria.[2]

Rupak Rauniar was seeking election to the Position 7 seat against Chad Dudley and Vivian Scheibel in the general election on May 10, 2014 prior to his withdrawal. Incumbent Sue Stringer will seek re-election to the Position 6 seat against Earl Humbird.
Funding
Raunair reported no contributions or expenditures to the district office as of April 15, 2014.[3]
