Lehrman provided the following statement for the Franklin County voters' guide:
“ | I am a father of two young Pasco School District students, one future Pasco student, and I believe in providing a quality education for all children.
I will listen to stakeholders, including teachers, staff, students, and parents before making impacting decisions. I believe that listening, empathy, and respect are important parts of communication. My science and engineering background has taught me to look at all problems with a questioning attitude. I have a wife and mother who are high school teachers, and a father who was a social worker and Head Start director. This has given me a unique perspective of the challenges that many students and families face. Pasco continues to grow and face unique challenges. I look forward to working with district staff and the community to constantly improve educational opportunities and performance of all students.[5] |
