November 15, 2018: There’s a week to go before Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but 5% of Americans have already finished their holiday shopping.[1] Another 10% say they’re halfway done.
At the other extreme, 61% haven’t even gotten started (a total that includes 20% who say they’ve at least started looking). Fourteen percent (14%) have started but aren’t halfway finished yet.
Finally, 11% say they won’t do any holiday shopping this year.
