October 29, 2025: Ninety-six years ago, on October 29, 1929, the New York Stock Exchange crashed in an event that would come to be called Black Tuesday. On this day, over 16 million shares were traded, resulting in losses in the billions of dollars. There was a small rebound on the market, but it was not enough. The United States, as well as many other countries around the world, would fall into the Great Depression.[1]
