Sharon McLaughlin was a Republican candidate for Connecticut Comptroller in the 2014 elections.[1] Sharon McLaughlin lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

McLaughlin ran for election to the office of Connecticut Comptroller in 2014 on the Republican and Independent Party lines. McLaughlin defeated Angel Cadena to win the Republican nomination in the August 12 primary, and took on incumbent Kevin Lembo (Democratic/Working Families Party) in the general election. Rolf Maurer (Green Party) was also on the ballot. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
