Biography
Teresa Isaac graduated from Bryan Station High School in 1972. She earned a bachelor's degree in pre-law from Transylvania University in 1976 and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1979. Isaac's career experience includes working as an attorney and professor of law, political science, and business management. She has worked as a consultant of the U.S. Department of State, sent to train mayors and police chiefs in Chile, Argentina, South Africa, and Pakistan. Isaac served as a member of the Urban County Council from 1990 to 1998 and as the mayor of Lexington from 2003 to 2006.[1][2]
