I have the ability to engage my community in addressing important concerns. I worked closely with the City of Troutdale, local businesses, and surrounding communities to establish The Troutdale SummerFest, fostering community support for the development of what was then the undeveloped north side of Troutdale’s Main Street. In 1999, I was honored to be recognized as Troutdale’s Citizen of the Year.

I bring a unique perspective to difficult issues and strive to achieve positive outcomes for complex problems. I have collaborated with businesses and nonprofits, assisting them in developing training venues for leadership development and redesigning organizational systems for improved efficiency and profitability.

As a staunch advocate for the business community and economic development, I have helped numerous individuals start their own businesses as full charge bookkeepers. In 2006, I incorporated my current business, focusing on equipping small businesses and nonprofits with the tools to manage their profitability and net worth effectively.

My commitment to educational excellence and workforce development is reflected in my eight years as a Business Advisor and Instructor with the Small Business Development Center at Mt. Hood Community College. I am proud to have been recognized for eight years of outstanding contribution and instruction by the East Metro Association of Realtors.

My wife Amy and I live in Troutdale. We share three adult daughters, a son and a son-in-law.
Business/economy, education, public safety, strong families
I am honest and am willing to listen to people from all walks of life.
