Tim Gunther (Democratic Party) ran for election for the District 10F Seat 2 judge of the North Carolina 10th Judicial District. Gunther won in the general election on November 3, 2020.

After the November 3, 2020 election, the Wake County Board of Elections determined that Gunther was ineligible to fill the District Court seat because he did not reside in the district.[1]
