Timothy J. Lawliss

Timothy J. Lawliss is a judge for the Clinton County Family Court in New York. He has served in this position since 1999, following his election. He was re-elected in 2008 to a term that ends in 2018.[1] Lawliss was defeated in his bid for the New York Supreme Court 4th Judicial District in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Education
Lawliss received his B.S. from the State University of New York at Plattsburg and his J.D. from the Suffolk University School of Law.[1]
Career
Before his appointment to the bench Lawliss was in private practice from 1987 through 1998. He joined the family court in 1999.[1]
