Biography

Education

Caraballo earned both her undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida.[1]

Military service

Caraballo served in the United States Army for 10 years prior to attending college and law school.[1]

Career

Prior to her judicial election in 2014, Caraballo was an attorney in private practice, which she started in 2012. Her prior experience includes fourteen years of tax bankruptcies and commercial construction litigation.[1]

2014

Caraballo ran for election to the Orange County Court.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 45.1 percent of the vote. She competed against Kenneth A. Barlow, Jr. and Blaine McChesney.
General: She defeated incumbent Judge Kenneth A. Barlow, Jr. in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 51.7 percent of the vote.[2][3]
