An effort to recall Tom Luna from his elected position as Idaho Schools Superintendent was launched in February 2011.[1] The effort failed due to an insufficient number of signatures. After the 2011 recall failed, organizers sought a 2012 recall that also failed.[2]
Recall supporter arguments
Nancy Berto, former Mountain Home Air Force Base secretary, organized the effort. She expressed concerns about the direction of public schools in Idaho.[1]
