Zico Fremont was born in Miami, Florida. Fremont earned an associate degree from Miami Dade College in 2008 and a bachelor's degree from Florida International University in 2015. His career experience includes working as a treasurer and coder. Fremont has been affiliated with the Chapman Partnership.[1]

Zico Fremont is a first-generation American of Haitian descent, born in Miami, Florida, on May 18, 1987, who understands the promise of the American Dream and the roadblocks making it difficult for many to achieve. He is a shining example of South Florida’s public school system, where he discovered his passion for technology, the arts, athletics, and civics at Morningside Elementary, Horace Mann Middle School, and Miami Edison Senior High.
 He graduated from Miami-Dade College with an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and an Associate of Science in Business Management & Music, where Mr. Fremont’s inspiration for civic engagement and government began.  
 Mr. Fremont’s political passion continued to grow during his leadership role as Senator for the Arts and Sciences a Director of Government Relations at Florida International University. There, he oversaw a multi-million dollar budget and approved the building of condo-style dorms and the Royal Caribbean Hospitality Building at FIU BBC.
More recently, Zico helped garner government support to implement STEM programs delivered via project-based learning, designed to capture the attention of the youth and spark their interest in the careers of the future in South Florida.
