Contact

Yliana G. Gonzalez, formerly Yliana G. Rodriguez, was the Place 3 member of the San Benito Board of Trustees in Texas. First elected to the board in 2009, she ran for re-election to a third consecutive term on May 9, 2015. Gonzalez lost the election for Place 3 to Joe Gonzalez.[1]

The winners of the 2015 election joined the district's new superintendent in tackling the consequences of an unbalanced budget. While initially a large reduction in staff seemed necessary to make up for several year's of over spending, other suggested plans hoped to avoid such a cull.
