Charles Miller (Democratic Party) was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 28. He assumed office in 1999. He left office on January 1, 2023.
Miller (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 28. He lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Miller passed away on June 9, 2025.[1]
Biography
Miller's professional experience includes working as a teacher, coach, and principal in Jefferson County Schools. Miler and his wife, Carmen, have three children.[2] He has served as a director of the Pleasure Ridge Park National Bank and as a member of the Columbia Hospital Board of Directors, Humana Hospital Board of Directors, Norton Hospital Board of Directors, and the Democrat Club.[3]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Charles W. Miller ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Joseph K. Mouser withdrew prior to the Republican primary. Miller was unchallenged in the general election.[8][9][10]

Miller won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 28. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and defeated Corey Allen Koellner (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[11][12]
2010
Miller's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate John Brewer. According to official results, Miller defeated Brewer by a margin of 6,874 to 5,657.[13]
