Sam Khoroosi was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 13 of the South Dakota State Senate.

Khoroosi ran in the 2012 election for South Dakota State Senate District 13. Khoroosi ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5 and was defeated by incumbent Phyllis M. Heineman (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
