Elections
2015
Opposition
The Frederick County School Board is a seven-member board elected to staggered four-year terms. Six seats on the board are elected by district and one seat is elected at-large.
The seats of at-large incumbent Stuart Wolk, Back Creek District incumbent Jody Wall, Gainesboro District incumbent Michael Lake and Opequon District incumbent Benjamin Waterman were up for election on November 3, 2015.[3] Lake ran unopposed and won re-election to his Gainesboro District seat. Shawnee District board member John Lamanna was the only candidate who filed for the at-large seat, which he therefore won unopposed. Newcomers Kali Klubertanz and Seth Thatcher also ran unopposed and won the Back Creek District and Opequon District seats, respectively.[1]
